Building a smart wardrobe starts with an organized and functional closet!
Every closet is different because everybody is unique, however we can all achieve an organized and functional wardrobe! Here are some examples of reasons for a Closet Call:
1) Too much! And you're not sure where to begin. Don't worry how messy or chaotic it is, I have seen it all, and can get it organized much faster than you can! Don't worry about cleaning/organizing your closet before I come, all I ask is that all (or most) garments are washed and hung or in a pile ready for me.
2) What goes, what stays? While sometimes it is a matter of how outdated it is, there are many ways you can extend the life of a garment by changing the function and so on. Please do not throw out clothing before I come, I see uses and purposes that you may not. I will also teach you how to determine what stays, and what should be shared with someone else. Learning this process not only helps in the buying process, but also in maintaining your closet.
3) Buying mistakes! It is only when we understand why we bought it, that we can learn to stop making mistakes and wasting $$$! After about an hour in a closet, I can tell you your challenges, and will then work with you to understand them and develop a new process for buying that supports a well rounded wardrobe.
4) Wardrobe direction Once your closet is organized according to you and your lifestyle, we will identify missing pieces, identify excesses, and outline my goals for you and your closet. You will receive a written analysis of your closet outlining all the above, and my goals for you going forward! If you have closet frustrations, I encourage you to stop in the store or give me a call, an organized and functional closet is truly wonderful, not to mention it will save you time and money in the future.
Closet Calls are by appointment: $45 per hour, 2 hour minimum-3 hour maximum per appointment
**Cancellation Fee: $15 for cancellations received less than 7 days prior to appointment
Once a closet is organized and functional the following are available:
Seasonal Visits: Generally at the beginning or end of a season. The purpose of this is to help during the transition season (spring or fall) and work the next season's clothing in to the closet. I will work with the upcoming season in terms of making outfits, and identifying key pieces that are missing and also organize/pull the soon to be passing season's clothing.
Make Outfits: Ever wondered how many outfits you could make using what you have? That is exactly what I will do! Start building your collection of outfits-I will take digitals for you of as many outfits as I can make. You can then print them-and when you aren't sure what to wear-flip through your digitals. This is good to do seasonally or if you struggle to put
pieces together. It is also helpful when shopping to purchase items that work back into your wardrobe.
During all Closet Call appointments I work with you to better understand what works for you and what does not, as well as your colors. I will also discuss everything with you, so you are comfortable with any changes and so on.To schedule an appointment:
